WGC BRIDGESTONE INVITATIONAL ODDS SHOW TIGER WOODS AS SIGNIFICANT FAVOURITE
Despite some rather indifferent results since making his dramatic return to golf, Tiger Woods remains the distinct favourite to win the WGC Bridgestone Invitational tournament. Popular Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has priced Woods at a 4/1 listing while Phil Mickelson continues to nip at his heels with a 9/1 price.
Interestingly enough, Paddy Power has released a double for this tournament where you can lock in 20/1 odds on Woods to win the WGC Bridgestone and the US PGA Championship. That's a great bet if you think this is where Woods turns it all around.
Knowing that the Ryder Cup is on the horizon may be an indication that Tiger will be looking to step things up dramatically. It doesn't take a clairvoyant to tell you that he just doesn't look the same as he used to though, and putting looks like it could be his krux.
Rory McIlroy is priced at 12/1 for the outright victory here while Lee Westwood is trading at 13/1. Bubba Watson is available at a 14/1 price tag while Steve Stricker can be backed at 16/1. Padraig Harrington is well-priced at 18/1 and Sean O'Hair is listed at 20/1. Kenny Perry is sitting at 22/1 with Luke Donald at a 28/1 price. Jim Furyk is listed alongside Paul Casey, Ernie Els and Chad Campbell.
Bubba Watson is odds-on to finish top after the first round with a 2/5 price putting him ahead of 12/1 Tiger Woods and 20/1 Lee Westwood.
Choose from 2 ball betting and mythical 2 ball betting while plenty of other exciting markets are available for this popular tournament. There is also tournament match betting still available.
One interesting bet involves the lowest score of round 1 between six popular players. Tiger Woods is 3/1 to oust 7/2 Lee Westwood, 4/1 Padraig Harrington, 9/2 Paul Casey, 9/2 Justin Rose and 6/1 Graeme Mcdowell.
