WILLIAM HILL ENGLAND VS WEST INDIES 1ST TEST DAY 3 BETTING TIPS
I don't know who these guys are or what they've done with the England team that toured the West Indies over the winter, but I've got to hand it to Andy Flower- wherever you found these guys... Keep it coming! One of the best displays I've seen in quite sometime came from England's beleagured attack today as the old guard was officially ushered out in favour of this young, up-and-coming squad of excellent players. I really can't think of anything to criticize about England's day two performance as Graham Onions registered an incredible test-match debut five-for. Graeme Swann nearly got a hat-trick and the venerable Paul Collingwood put in an excellent shift. The fielding was very much the antithesis of how Windies played yesterday, dropped catches weren't an issue and England looked absolutely terrifying through the slips. Prior has demonstrated that he's the man to keep behind the stumps come Ashes time and Graham Onions literally bowled himself into the side today. Dropping Harmison, Bell and Panesar must be viewed as an unequivocal success with their replacements gong absolutely over the top in terms of performance. If England can get the veteran players playing like the new ones, we'll be in for a very competitive series this summer. If you're wagering on tomorrow's action, there's plenty of possibilities over at William Hill. There isn't any value in the outright market at the result is effectively a foregone conclusion. England sit at 1/33 forthe win with the draw at 14/1 and Windies at 33/1 to pull off arguably the most incredible test reverse in recent history. England go into tomorrow with even more momentum as Chris Gayle and Ramnaresh Sarwan have already been removed. Windies sit at 39/2 and they'll need to score 187 runs to force England to take up the bat again. I'm not sure if that's going to happen or not, so the market I'm focusing on is England's Top 2nd innings bowler. James Anderson is listed at 8/13 (as he's already got two very important wickets) but this one will be won by whoever can blast through Windies lower order, similar to what Graham Onions did today. Tim Bresnan will doubtlessly be given a session with the ball, but I don't fancy him to make too many breakthroughs, especially in the early session. Stuart Broad is available at 5/1 with Swann and Onions at 6/1. There's a number of other markets available and if you know how West Indies batsmen are going to be dismissed, you're in for a heck of a payday.
