WORLD CUP 2010 GROUP E LATEST PREDICTIONS AND BETTING ODDS

Holland looks to have this group wrapped up as they are set to take on Denmark, Cameroon and Japan. This one looks like a race for 2nd place with the Dutch side being head-and-shoulders above their opponents here- at least in terms of history and footballing stature.

Cameroon are no slouches though and they boast a fairly formidable goalscoring outfit. As usual, the goalkeeping issues are the main ones with the African side but if they front partnership is on-song then I think they should be able to secure qualification.
Denmark will really be looking to get one over the Dutch here and Nicklas Bendtner’s side are just slightly-favoured to win the group over Cameroon, but they are dead-even in terms of qualifying. Denmark are 4/1 to win their group while Cameroon are at a 9/2 price.
Japan look like long-shot outsiders here and will likely be looking to not get too embarrassed. Japan are trading at a 14/1 margin to win Group E.
Holland look to have this one wrapped up and the battle is between Denmark and Cameroon to finish second- both selections are trading at even money. Japan is available at an 11/4 price to sneak into the knock-out stages.
The Japanese are 1/4 not to qualify while Cameroon and Denmark are listed at 8/11. Holland are 4/1 not to go through, but that would take a fairly spectacular collapse.
With things being so close between Denmark and Cameroon, the Holland/Denmark and Holland/Cameroon selections are both at 11/4. Holland/Japan is at 6/1 while Denmark/Holland and Cameroon/Holland are both at 7/1.
Japan are 5/6 to finish on the bottom of the group while Cameroon are at 11/4 and Denmark at 3/1. Holland trade at a 16/1 to finish dead-last in Group E.
Should the tournament winner come out of Group E, you’re looking at a hefty 9/1 price tag. Holland are 10/1 to win the 2010 World Cup.
