WORLD CUP 2010 GROUP E LATEST TIPS AND BETTING PREDICTIONS
I get the feeling that Holland are going to go out and really try to make things happen against Denmark after Germany threw down the gauntlet on Sunday. The Dutch side are being tipped as possible winners here and their pre-tournament odds were 1/3 better than Germany's.
Popular UK bookmaker Blue Square has priced Holland at a 1/2 price to win Group E while Denmark are the co-second favourites with Cameroon at 9/2, while Japan are a lengthy 14/1 to win their group.
In terms of outright qualification, Holland are a very short 1/9 while Denmark and Cameroon are both listed at even money. Japan are 7/2 and I think there's a distinct chance they could qualify, and all they'd really have to do is beat either of Denmark or Cameroon.
Japan are odds-on to finish bottom and they're available at 8/11.
You can back Holland/Cameroon or Holland/Denmark at 5/2 in the straight forecast market and I think that's about right price-wise. Personally, I think that Holland/Japan at 15/2 is a much better shout though.
Cameroon could turn out to be a force to be reckoned with in this group, but they will need to stay organized and avoid some of the issues that led them to crash out of the 2010 African Cup of Nations.
Blue Square has priced Holland at 17/2 to win the 2010 World Cup and you can expect a sharp price-drop if they win their first match emphatically.
I have a feeling this could be a very tight race for 2nd spot and it could go down to the very last match.
