World Cup 2018 Betting Preview PT 3

Spain are an interesting option here and they appear to be taking a fairly significant amount of money according to the bookmakers. You’ll find the Spanish available at a price of around 8/1 with most major bookmakers and they have been disappointing in a few recent international tournaments so be sure to keep your eye on them and their price going forward.

Argentina are just a step behind the Spanish and they can be backed as high as a 9/1 margin - this places them as one of the last contenders still trading at a single digit price. They have consistently underperformed as potential tournament winners in the past few iterations of the World Cup as Lionel Messi & co seem to be a lot more fired up for their club sides than they are for their international team - who never seem to make it as far as they are expected.

France are interestingly-priced with a few bookmakers listing them as low as 6/1 - putting them at the same price as Germany in a few spots - but also being available as high as an 11/1 margin. They certainly have plenty of good players lining up for them but it’s going to be important to see which France side is actually going to show up in June.

Belgium rank amongst one of the most popular outside selections this time and they have outperformed expectations in the last few international tournaments they have played in. There is a lot to like about this Belgium side and they are available anywhere between 14/1 all the way up to 16/1 depending on which bookmaker you’re using.

Italy are priced at around 20/1 while England are available at an identical price in most places, with a few bookmakers going 22/1 on them.
