World Cup 2018 Qualifying Betting Tips PT 2

Group B sees Portugal coming in as the odds-on favourites to win the group and you’ll find them priced at a 4/6 margin at the moment. Switzerland is trading at a 7/4 price tag and that’s really interesting wager since they could top the group if they basically beat Portugal at home and likely get a draw away. Hungary look out of the mix as a potential spoiler at 20/1 with the Faroe Islands, Latvia and Andorra also in Group B but unlikely to make any magic happen.

Germany have a relative stranglehold on what appears to be a rather weak Group C as they sit at a 1/5 price tag against the Czech Republic who trade at a best price of 9/1. Norway are a 28/1 margin while Northern Ireland can be backed at 50/1. Azerbaijan and the perennial whipping boys San Marino are in the group as well.

It would really be something if Northern Ireland could pull off a second place finish here because it’s not out of the question if they can get the better of the Czech Republic. They have proved to be giant killers in the past and may be able to get the better of Germany or secure a draw at home if they really play to the absolute best of their abilities.

Should that actually happen and Germany drop points against any of the other teams, it blows the race for second place wide open. Northern Ireland in a top two finish can be backed at a 4/1 margin.

Group D shows one of the most competitive situations in the entire World Cup qualifying group with a three-way contest emerging between Serbia, Wales and Austria who trade at 5/2, 3/1 and 7/2, respectively. Even the Republic of Ireland are in the mix here with a 6/1 margin so you can expect the top 2 finishing market to be especially competitive and decent value here as well.

Serbia are the favourites there at an 8/15 price tag with the Austrians sitting at 4/6 and Wales at 11/10. Republic of Ireland are at 11/8 and it would be something else to see two of the home nations get out of this group. You’ll also find Moldova and Georgia in the mix here as well.
