There’s a few solid fixtures set to kick off this week in World Cup Qualifying in Europe with a seriously fascinating clash developing as France takes on Spain. The bookmakers seem genuinely perplexed about who actually wins this one and both sides are available at prices that their fans are likely unfamiliar with backing.

France can be had at a solid 21/10 price tag to win the match, which is also the same odds as a score draw. Spain get the edge here but they’re at a full 13/10 to get the outright result and that’s going to tempt plenty of late money.
Look to get your bet on Spain now if you genuinely fancy them, but France punters should wait to treat themselves to a better price. There is really every chance that this one will end as a bore 0-0 and that’s the second choice correct score option, trading at a 15/2.
Karim Benzema is the favoured French goalscorer and he’s priced at 6/4 for an anytime strike. Look to Olivier Giroud or Loic Remy as the other key options with 7/4 listings available for both.
Paul Pogba is also an interesting option at 10/3.
David Villa leads the line for Spain with an even money price for a goal while Alvaro Negredo and Cesc Gabregas are both trading at 6/4, this one is a toss-up as to who actually starts so you may want to wait until the starting line-ups are actually revealed as the odds probably won’t shuffle around too much.
In other key fixtures, the Northern Ireland vs Israel fixture looks to be an interesting one with the Israelis priced at 13/10 and Norn Eire trading at a 21/10 price tag.
Wales face a tricky away tie to Croatia and they’re at 4/1 to get the outright result. Look for Croatia to deliver at a slim 4/7 while the draw can be backed at 5/2.
Serbia vs Scotland also could be interesting with the Serbs available at 8/13 against 9/2 Scotland.
