WORLD MATCHPLAY DARTS LATEST ODDS AND BETTING TIPS
We've got four more first-class matches set to kick-off today at the World Matchplay Championships. We had some solid results yesterday and Ladbrokes is back with even more exciting odds for today's fixtures.
Terry Jenkins vs Steve Brown looks to be a fairly straightforward match with Jenkins priced at a slim 1.25. Steve Brown is a lengthy 3.75 to pull off the upset victory while Jenkins is attractively-priced on the handicap with a (-3.5) margin paying off at a 1.8 price. Jenkins to notch the highest checkout is priced at 1.5.
Simon Whitlock vs Tony Eccles is the biggest mismatch on a day full of heavy favourites. You can back Whitlock at a 1.12 price whiel Eccles is available at a 5.5 margin. Whitlock (-3.5) is trading at a 1.61 price and he's a slim 1.36 to score the highest checkout. The over/under on 180s is set at 6.5 with the under favoured at 1.72 and the over available at a price of even money.
Robert Thornton vs Gary Anderson is skewed heavily in favour of Anderson and you can back him at 1.22 while Thornton is trading at a 4.0 price. Anderon (-3.5) is attractively priced at 1.61 while Anderson to get the most 180s is priced at 1.36.
The final fixture of the evening is Mervyn King vs Jelle Klaasen. You'll find King as the pronounced favourite at a 1.36 price while Klaasen can be backed at 3.0. King on a (-3.5) handicap can be had at an even-money price and I think that's a great bet- especially on a multiplier.
If you're looking to put together a four-match parlay, you're going to have to excuse some rather slim odds if you're backing the favourites here. You can back Jenkins x Whitlock x Anderson x King at a 2.34 price. Should you find yourself a bit more adventurous, you can back all four favourites to win on their respective handicaps and then you can lock in a 9.39 price.
