WORLD SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIPS BETTING TIPS
The World Snooker Championships are in full swing at the moment and after a quick look at the betting odds on a lot of these matches, you must get the feeling that there are a lot of excellent wagering opportunities out there over the next few days. Judd Trump v Joe Delaney: This is one of the real stand-out matches for me and you really have to admit that aside from Ronnie O'Sullivan, Judd Trump remains one of the marquee names in terms of the next generation of snooker players. Thankfully, Trump oozes quality despite some blips in form over the past year or so. Currently, he is listed at 1-6 outright to beat Joe Delaney at Paddy Power. Delaney is listed at 7-2 and while you aren't exactly looking at a massive payday I consider this one a lock so back Trump in any snooker accumulators that you're putting together. Adrian Gunnell v Lee Spick: Adrian Gunnell is listed as the 2-5 favourite to triumph over Lee Spick and I really don't see any reason not to back him here. I don't think Spick's form reflects the type of player who can overcome somebody of Gunnell's quality, especially at this point in time. With Spick listed at 7-4, some may be tempted to back the upset, but I don't recommend it at this phase of the tournament. Rory McLeod v Andy Hicks: Despite being cursed with an unfortunate name, Rory McLeod is a fairly good bet to overcome Andy Hicks during tomorrow's match-up. First and foremost, every single person I've ever met named Rory was a total embarrassment so it is difficult for me to get behind somebody with that unfortunate moniker. I am confident that Rory will achieve victory by more than a three-inch margin and while the win won't be served on a silver(berg) platter he will likely win the match. You can back him at evens.
