Patrick Reed is definitely in the mix too and he’s trading around a 12/1 to 16/1 margin with most major bookmakers.

Phil Mickelson is always a popular selection in the betting markets for nearly every major championship - even if he doesn’t come into it with a whole lot of recent form. Lefty knows how to get it done on the big stages and he’s getting a lot of respect early on with a price as high as 20/1 but many more offering up closer to a 16/1 margin at this point.
A player who definitely comes into the 2015 US Open with plenty of momentum is Rickie Fowler who won a tournament recently in an electrifying play-off to silence the critics of the young flamboyant linksman. He appears to be considered a general 25/1 but there are some books that continue to float the American contender at a slim 18/1 margin.
Rory McIlroy always get a lot of support from the UK and Irish books but he’s trading off the pace here with a 25/1 margin that places him alongside Matt Kuchar. Both players look capable of mounting a challenge in the coming days but it’s going to be tricky for them as it will require near-perfect golf to get them close to striking range when we get to Sunday.
After McIlroy and Kuchar, the odds take a big jump to about 40/1 for the likes of Jimmy Walker and Billy Horschel while perennial contender Jason Day can be backed anywhere from 70/1 to 40/1 with some bookmakers.
Jason Dufner is also in this at about 40/1 or 50/1 alongside Franesco Molinari. Hideki Matsuyama looks likely to be the best-priced Asian contender with a 40/1 margin at some books and a 60/1 price tag at others.
