2017 Masters Betting Tips PT 2

Rory McIlroy is always in the mix at big tournaments like this and you will see that he has picked up plenty of momentum over the past few months and appears to be bang in contention as we head into the 2017 Masters. The Northern Irishman has seen his price retreating a litle bit and you can now back him at a best price of about 11/1.

McIlroy knows how to navigate this course and has put in some good shifts at Augusta in the past despite never actually winning the tournament before. He has won every other major championship and you get the feeling that there will be more than a few punters who think that it could be his year this time around.

Jason Day is another high calibre player and he has every chance of making an impression on the biggest stage and the bookmakers have him trading as one of the solid favourites among the top five contenders for the 2017 Masters. He is priced very similarly to Rory McIlroy with a lot of popular books and you'll find himpriced as high as a 25/2 margin with the majority going 11/1 or 12/1 on him to win it all.

You'll find him priced as low as an 8/1 listing with a few books here and there.

Rounding out this top five that stand at considerably shorter prices than the bulk of the competition for the 2017 Masters, you'll find Hideki Matsuyama who is priced as high as a 14/1 margin with a few bookmakers – making him a very tempting each-way shout. Several other bookmakers have the Japanese star trading at a shorter price of around 10/1 or 11/1 but it's going to be interesting to watch his odds shift around in the build-up to the competition.
