2018 Masters Betting Preview PT 1

We are getting closer and closer to the kick off of the 2018 Masters at Augusta National and there is a lot of excitement and intrigue starting to develop around this major championship and not the least of which is the recent return to form of none other than Tiger Woods.

The venerable American sensation rocked the world of golf through the late 1990s and early 2000s only to see his career sink into obscurity after an assortment of personal problems and injuries began to accrue - effectively ending his incredible rise.

While he may not be coming into the major championship as the outright favourite - he is certainly enjoying the lion’s share of the press and an incredible amount of recent momentum that, despite him not actually winning any of his recent tournaments, he has been in the hunt for the victory and that makes all of the difference.

The Masters is always an incredible kick off to the major championship season and there is a real feeling this time around that we may be in store for something absolutely extra special.

The betting markets are being dominated right now by none other than Rory McIlroy and he deserves a lot of respect coming into this one but you have to wonder whether he will be able to muster up the right type of performance over these tricky greens and all of the tough holes that he’s going to have to endure over four days of play.
