Things are definitely heating up at Augusta National as the Masters is just around the corner and is set to kick off in just a week’s time. There is so much to like about this major championship and it is always considered to be one of the biggest betting events in the world of Golf.

From the secretive shrubs of Augusta, the four day event will pit some of the best players in the world against each other and there is a lot of great betting opportunities coming into this year’s iteration of the contest.
The bookmakers are seemingly convinced that this could be Rory McIlroy’s year and they have him trading at a 15/2 price tag to win the 2019 Masters outright. That’s not a bad price and you can certainly consider him to be a genuine contender for this but there are probably a lot more who will be waiting to see where Rory is sitting after the first day’s play.
McIlroy is the only player to trade at a single digit price.
Dustin Johnson is considered to be the next most likely contender and he’s available around a 10/1 margin with a number of top bookmakers right now. Justin Rose has been a major contender in a lot of contests like this one. He’s definitely been knocking on the door for quite a while in the Masters and he could be set to make the break through.
You’ll find him available around a 14/1 price right now with most major bookmakers.
Tiger Woods is the other big presence in the betting markets and the bookmakers have him trading around a 16/1. You’ll also find Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed right in the mix.
