You’ll also find Dustin Johnson at a single digit price and he’s listed as high as a 9/1 margin to come into this tournament with a good recent run of form under his belt. He is always a threat on the big stage and you usually know pretty early whether DJ is going to make a move or not. He might be worth holding off on until midway through the first day’s play if he looks to be swinging the clubs well on Thursday at the Masters.

Jon Rahm can be backed around a 10/1 margin and he looks like he should be priced a bit higher for this one. Rahm knows how to win tournaments like these and shouldn’t be discounted but he could wind up drifting if he doesn’t open the first day very well.

Justin Thomas is always a contender in situations like these and his 12/1 price tag tells no lies about his chances. He’s probably not great in each-way territory but he’s available at a solid price if you’re backing him on the win-only wager. Rory McIlroy is priced anywhere between 11/1 and a 14/1 margin and he is usually priced amongst the leading contenders for every major.

The fact remains, however, that McIlroy just hasn’t won a tournament in a while so he might be an each-way play but a victory here would probably require him to turn around some rather mediocre form. He is probably a better bet at 25s.

Brooks Keopka can be backed around a 16/1 margin and that looks like an appropriate price for a player who comes into the tournament with some really good form. He has emerged as one of the most dominant players on the PGA Tour and could be set to further etch his name into the history books with another big performance at Augusta National.

Hideki Matsuyama is an interesting outside option here amongst the bigger names and the Japanese star is being listed by the bookmakers around a 25/1 best price right now. He is usually there or thereabouts in tournaments like this so there’s a lot that he can do here to make another big impression.
