2021 US PGA Championship Betting Update PT 2

Lefty could be rolling back the years and if he is able to maintain this momentum into Sunday, then you could be looking at a great price. Currently, you’ll find Phil Mickelson available around an 80/1 margin.

The shortest odds are currently on Jon Rahm and he’s listed around a 15/2 margin with several top bookmakers going even lower than that. He’s also sitting at -2 alongside Mickelson, Corey Connors, Padraig Harrington and a handful of others. He tends to get better as the tournament goes on so he looks well-poised to make an impression.

Viktor Hovland is one of the surprise names at the top of the leaderboard and the bookmakers have him trading around a 17/2 price, making him the second favourite ahead of 11/1 Brooks Koepka. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain his momentum throughout Friday’s play and all he really needs to do is hang around and show that he can handle the course.

He could be one of the players who really benefits from the Kiawah surface favouring a long hitting player. It will be fascinating to see how his odds fluctuate through Friday’s action.

Other notables include the likes of Collin Morikawa at 16/1, Keegan Bradley at 22/1 and Rory McIlroy at 55/1 to make what would be a very big statement. There are a few players who were expected to really perform but who are listed at long odds such as Dustin Johnson at 66/1, Rickie Fowler at 80/1 and Justin Rose at a 100/1 price tag.
