Bangladesh vs England World Cup Cricket Tips PT 2

As it currently stands, there is an 11/4 price tag being traded right now and that could swing pretty starkly in-play but it’s a lot more appealing than England’s slim 2/7 price right now.

If England are to be looking to two of their stars to help them deliver the much-needed result here, the bookmakers fancy it to be Ian Bell or Moeen Ali - both of whom are trading at an 11/2 price tag to secure the Man of the match award. Alex Hales and James Anderson are both the next best-priced contenders and they’re available at 8/1. You have to assume that a really stand-out performance by one of the bowlers would see them look much better.

Joe Root is also an interesting outside option at 10/1 and his good performance is plausible considering he will probably be playing whether England do poorly or actually play really well.

The bookmakers have set an over/under for Ian Bell’s total runs at a 30.5 margin and that’s not outside of the question if he performs to expectations. Sometimes on individual total wagering you want to do it in-play to see if they can get off the mark and get up to 3 or 4 runs and look relatively comfortable doing so. Moeen Ali can be backed at an initial over/under at 27.5 while Jos Buttler looks a solid selection at 20.5 - that will be good as you’ll have a pretty decent gauge of how England are handling Bangladesh’s attack.

Out of all the players on the pitch, England have Joe Root considered to be the most likely contender to get to 50 or more with the bookmakers listing him at a solid 6/4 to pull that off. If he can get comfortable and get a good variety of shots played, he looks fairly good to convert that total.

If England can actually pull off the victory - and do it in style - they will be looking a lot better moving forward but many might view it as the final nail in the coffin for many involved in the England set-up if they wind up throwing this Bangladesh match away cheaply as well.
