The wildcards for England are Alex Hales and Moeen Ali who are both trading at 9/2 margins while Gary Balance and Eoin Morgan are priced at 5/1 and it wouldn’t be surprising to see either of them put together a great performance.
The next fixture looks to be a bit of a lopsided one with South Africa taking on nearby neighbours Zimbabwe who probably shouldn’t even really be here considering the state that cricket is in in that country. Don’t even get us started on the country itself. Regardless, you’ll find the Proteas trading at a microscopic 1/25 for the outright victory while Zimbabwe are a 9/1 shout to pull off what would probably be their biggest result in eons.
Hashim Amla gets the edge from the bookmakers in this one and he’s trading at 2/1 to be named top South African runscorer. De Kock is just behind him at an 11/4 margin while it’s worth noting the talents of AB De Villiers who is a solid 4/1 shot here and could surprise if the usual suspects don’t manage to pull off the big performance that many might assume.
The big one with India facing off against Pakistan plays out early Sunday morning in the UK and, though India were not particularly inspiring during their tri-series against England and Australia, they still deserve plenty of respect and they’re getting it from the bookmakers - who have named them as the 8/15 favourites to get the better of their arch rivals.
