Hernandez Waiting for Chance

He has been in and out of the team because of Dimitar Berbatov’s good form and the fact that Wayne Rooney still has a fearsome reputation despite the fact he has been badly out of form. However, the little Mexican has jumped at every chance he has been given and may get a rare start against Aston Villa.
Hernandez has proved on regular occasions this season that he is capable of playing in and around established players. Sir Alex Ferguson is not a naïve or stupid manager and will know that a time is coming for the Mexican to have a long run of games in the team.
There are many attributes that mean Hernandez is a very difficult attacking player to play against. His pace is extremely quick and this will make him effective at any level. This is something that Berbatov doesn’t have and it naturally compliments Berbatov’s game because Hernandez can exploit the space the Bulgarian creates.
Hernandez has showed in his limited United career that he has a brilliant killer instinct in front of goal. His goals against Stoke City and Southampton last weekend were a little similar to the way Carlos Tevez played at United; when there is a hint of a chance, Hernandez will be all over it.
United will be working hard on building Hernandez up because at the moment he can still do a lot of work in terms of strength and power. He is still growing and developing and could become a phenomenal player at the club once he has done some extensive strength and conditioning work with the fitness coaches.
Hernandez will be getting a regular chance in the United team very soon and he’ll take advantage of it.
