Ladbrokes Promo Code for 2012 US Open

Tiger Woods has seen his price go from 6/1 to a very slim 5/2 after he opened strongly on day 1 at the 2012 US Open – one of the few players under par at this point. For a player who isn't really known for getting off to great starts, especially in major championships, this is a strong sign that he is prepared to play a full four days with more control and poise than he's shown over the past year or two.

The second day's action gets underway shortly at the Olympic Club.
It is perhaps even more interesting that he displayed such an amazing round of golf when paired up with Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson – two top-ranked golfers.
A number of high-quality players did not card good scores so if Tiger can hold onto his momentum and finish the second day under par, he'll be in great shape.
Michael Thompson is the current leader with a -4 but that has a lot more to do with his amazing performance on one hole as opposed to a genuinely strong 18 holes. Look for him to keep rolling but it will be interesting to see how he's doing with Tiger in the hunt just a point or two behind him.
As mentioned above, Woods has been taken into 5/2 and was actually trading as low as 9/4 in the live betting at several points yesterday.
Justin Rose is considered to be the strongest challenger at this point and he's as low as 8/1 with Matt Kuchar trading at a 12/1 listing. Lee Westwood can be backed at 16/1 alongside Jim Furyk and Graeme McDowell.
Nick Watney, Jason Dufner, David Toms, Ian Poulter and Michael Thompson can all be backed at 25/1, with many of them looking good prices on the each-way.
