Tiger Woods set for Return at Bay Hill: 2010 Masters
- By Allan Pederson on March 11, 2010 20:19 GMTWord around the campfire is looking like Tiger Woods is set for his 2010 debut at the Bay Hill Invitational in two weeks time.
Woods has hired former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer (who now runs a crisis-oriented PR firm) to represent him and this is looking like the first big piece of news since Tiger made his very public apology several weeks back.
While odds for the 2010 Bay Hill Invitational have not yet been released, it looks as though Tiger will have plenty of time to prep for the 2010 Masters at Augusta National Golf Course.
Many UK bookmakers consider Tiger the 3/1 favourite to win the prestigious tournament outright. Augusta has been the scene of some of the most dramatic moments in Tigers historic career and getting things back on course at the 2010 Masters would be fitting.
Phil Mickelson is currently his biggest challenge for the Masters Championship with Lefty trading at an 11/2 price. Padraig Harrington is listed at 16/1 alongside Steve Stricker. Rory McIlroy is poised for a breakout year and he’s trading at 18/1 with Lee Westwood.
