United Favoured in Arsenal Clash

After falling victim to a resilient Swansea side at the weekend in an epic 3-2 loss, Arsenal fans are not convincing the bookies of their ability to hold off Manchester United despite hosting them this Saturday at the Emirates Stadium.

Sir Alex Ferguson's men have also been under an increasing amount of pressure but many expect them to turn on the afterburners at this point with Manchester City finally starting to show some vulnerability now that many of their better players are either injured or unavailable.
Next Sunday's fixture is probably going to be the highlight of the weekend but many are also looking at the City vs Spurs fixture, which doesn't sound like a top four clash at first glance but actually turns out to be one. If Spurs are going to fulfil the hype surrounding their side then you would definitely expect them to grab at least a draw in that one against a depleted City side that will be deprived of midfield playmaker David Silva.
Manchester United will be banking on Spurs to get the job done over there or at least take points off City as they will have a fantastic opportunity to go top of the table should they get the result over Arsene Wenger's men.
As it currently stands, Manchester United are trading at a 6/4 price tag while Arsenal can be backed at a 7/4 listing. Rare that you'll find Arsenal unfavoured at home but it seems to be a real vote of confidence in Fergie's ability to rouse a proper performance from his troops.
The 9/4 draw will probably be a popular choice amongst neutral fans.
Paul Scholes scoring performance at the weekend has given him a bit of a lift, even if it was just a tap-in, and United's fanbase will be looking to Scholes once again to produce more midfield magic with his range of passing and ability to arrive late in danger areas.
