United vs Liverpool Dominates Premier League Weekend

Despite United topping the table in the Premier League at the moment, the bookmakers have this fixture listed much closer than in years past as one of the biggest rivalries in the world is set for its latest iteration this weekend. The noontime kick-off on Saturday pits Manchester United against a newly-revamped Liverpool who are playing with much more attacking verse and cohesiveness than we have seen before.

As it currently stands, United are the favourites at an 11/8 price tag while Liverpool are listed at a relatively slim 2/1. The draw, which both sides will be looking to avoid, is priced at 23/10. United really can't afford to drop points and Liverpool will be counting on them to come forward and attempt to win the game.
The Luis Suarez factor is really the big one for United and if the Uruguayan can make the type of statement that he would like, then United could be in for some very interesting moments in front of goal.
David De Gea will need to be at his best with Suarez attacking with pace and trying some off-the-shoulder type of stuff. Count on Steven Gerrard to be a danger from set-pieces and to add some extra focus to midfield.
United's best chance is likely to be their overall attacking oomph that they've been able to display with lots of pace coming out of midfield. Ashley Young and Nani will likely start this one with Wayne Rooney and Chicharito up front.
Rooney is the betting favourite for the opening goal at a 6/1 price while Luis Suarez is just behind him at 7/1. Javier Hernandez is also listed at the same price and it's always worth keeping an eye on Michael Owen in fixtures like this one too.
