Lefty boasts a one stroke lead heading into the final day of action and he looks like he could be poised to emerge as the oldest player to win a major championship in PGA history.

There’s a lot to like about his chances and a lot to like about his price as well with the bookmakers listing him around a 3/1 margin in-play to lift the trophy at the end of Sunday’s action.
He posted a really good performance on the first day - jumping to the lead and not really looking back at any point. Phil was able to post a succession of five birdies within his first ten holes and he has been difficult to track going forward for a number of the players chasing him.
Several big names had been in contention early on and many of them have dropped out with only a couple of contenders really looming at likely prices to depose Mickelson from his date with history. Right now, it looks like the bookmakers are favouring the likes of Brooks Keopka to get the job done and they have him trading as the outright betting favourite despite being a stroke back from Mickelson.
At the time of this writing, Koepka was available around a 13/8 best price with several top bookmakers and we all know that he is capable of putting together some really solid performances when it matters most. It could wind up being a battle of tenacity during the final holes and many might reckon that Phil’s experience could wind up getting the job done for him.
