Crunch Time for City and United
- By A.J. Ryder on May 11, 2012 17:41 GMT
It's been an exciting season of English Premier League action and it all looks set to go down to the final day as all the fixtures kick off on Sunday at 3pm. Manchester City are in the driver's seat and all they have to do is beat QPR at Eastlands in order to secure their first Premier League title in 44 years. Noisy neighbours indeed.

City are the biggest favourites of the entire day as they trade as short as 1/7 for the outright victory against QPR. The R's trade at 16/1 for the victory while a draw, which would light up the eyes of Sir Alex Ferguson, would pay out at a 6/1 margin.
Mark Hughes unceremonious dismissal makes for an interesting subplot to this one and the former United player would like nothing more than to see his team of giant-killers de-rail City's title bit at the death.
In order to have any chance, United must take all three points against Sunderland and they are fairly firm favourites to do so. You'll find them priced out at 2/5 while the Black Cats reward at 13/2 for the outright victory. The draw pays out at 7/2 and there are plenty who believe United may slip up here – especially if City strike early against QPR.
Manchester City should not underestimate QPR as they have strung together a series of crucial victories in order to keep their Premier League hopes alive. Wins against big teams have become a genuine reality after a stuttering start to the season.
Perennial escape artists Wigan Athletic confirmed their Premier League status last year and have done very well in the past few weeks, though that will probably surprise few.
Bolton must defeat Stoke City in order to stay in the league and this one looks one of the tightest fixtures of the day. Bolton trade at a 7/4 margin while Stoke City are priced at 11/8. A draw wouldn't do them any good and they'll need to go for it. Expect Bolton supporters to have their radios tuned to the QPR vs City fixture and vice-versa on what is expected to be an incredible day of action as the Premier League reaches its crescendo.
