Ladbrokes Free Bet for David Haye vs Dereck Chisora

Things are certainly going to get... interesting on Saturday night as David Haye and Dereck Chisora meet up in one of the most farcical heavyweight fights in, well, ever. Inspired by the “he glassed me” moment during the infamous aftermath of the Chisora vs Klitschko bout, David Haye has come out of retirement and is going into the fight as the significant favourite according to the bookmakers across Europe.

Thanks to the Luxemburg Boxing Federation, the bout will go forward and you can bank on a fair amount of volume on this one – and a decent portion of that will likely go on some of the left-field markets being offered up by bookmakers like Ladbrokes.

The outright odds have Haye at a slim 1/3 for the outright victory by any method while Chisora can be backed at 5/2. The draw trades at 28/1 but that never happens... Though it just might happen here.

The method of victory betting is especially interesting and a KO or TKO victory looms large in the reckoning. David Haye can be backed at a 5/4 margin while a Haye victory on points trades at a competitive 7/4.

Chisora to win is more likely to happen via KO or TKO and he can be backed at around 5/1 to do so. He's a 6/1 shout to win by decision. The fight is not favoured to go the distance with an even money price on the fight going to the judges and 8/11 to finish prior to that.

With a KO or TKO favoured, it's not a bad idea to try to take advantage of the knockdown market where David Haye to get knocked down and win the fight trades at 9/1 while Chisora to hit the canvas and go on to win will reward at a hefty 14/1.

Taking a look at the round betting indicates that a shorter fight favours David Haye – with his odds as low as 14/1 for rounds 2 thru 5, while Chisora is favoured for a later round victory if he's going to pull it off. His lowest round price is 40/1 and it can be backed between rounds 6 and 9.
