There’s a lot to like about the main event but plenty of excitement awaits on the undercard with a few solid prices being floated by the bookmakers.

Things get underway at the VyStar Arena in Jacksonville, Florida and the main event pits Jorge Masvidal against Kamaru Usman in a match that could wind up going down as an absolute classic.
Undefeated in the UFC (and without a professional loss since 2013) Usman comes into the contest as the significant favourite with a best price of around ¼ being available right now for the outright victory. Usman was able to get the better of Masvidal in the UAE last year in a decision that went to the judges and many of us expect a similar performance here.
Masvidal is priced at a 3/1 margin for the outright win and that’s going to be a price that definitely tempts some punters but one has to reckon that most will be seeking to parlay Usman with some of the other fighters appearing on the undercard. The bookmakers are steeling themselves for an Usman victory by decision and you’ll find that priced at even money.
Since title fights go a full five rounds, one might be backing either fighter to win by KO, TKO or DQ with Usman priced at 12/5 and Masvidal trading at a solid 5/1 margin for a KO or TKO victory. Neither fighter boasts many submission victories and you can assume that the 13/1 and 17/1 prices on both fighters winning via submission are going to be a bit of a reach.
There is some interesting options on the fight to either go or not go the distance and the fight is favoured to go the judges with an 8/11 price tag while the fight to be settled via any other means rewards at even money.
