2010 EUROVISION LATEST ODDS FROM WILLIAM HILL SHOW LENA MEYER-LANDRUT AS FAVOURITE

There has definitely been some fluctuation in the betting markets for Eurovision 2010 over the past seven days and we are now seeing Lena Meyer-Landrut of Germany listed as the clear favourite. Previously, she had been floating in the chasing back behind Azerbaijan and Israel.

The odds for Meyer-Landrut to win 2010 Eurovision are now trading at 11/4- a massive drop from her 14/1 listing in the previous week. Azerbaijan’s Safura Alizadeh has drifted from 5/2 up to 7/2. Israel has drifted heavily from 5/1 and are now listed at an 8/1 price.
Denmark have shortened just a little bit from 14/1 down to 12/1 while Norway continues to hold steady alongside Armenia and Croatia at 14/1.
Following that, the odds take a pretty big jump up to 25/1 for Greece while Belgium, Sweden, Ireland and Turkey are all listed at 33/1. Ireland are the surprise element in that group and their entry Niamh Kavanagh has been responsible for Irish bookmakers shortening their countries price. The United Kingdom and France are listed at 66/1 while Spain are also available at the same price.
It is definitely becoming apparent that this one could come down to a duel between Lena Meyer-Landrut and Safura Alizadeh. I do expect plenty of swings in the betting odds as we get closer to the competition. Meyer-Landrut is definitely sitting in pole position though thanks to her pre-determined qualification to the final. She will also perform last out of all the “big four”.
William Hill also has a great free bet offer that you can cash in on 2010 Eurovision, so if you’re looking to back your country for free- look no further than William Hill!
