It remains to be seen whether Trump will face a primary challenge but it is unlikely that one would have any real bearing on his pursuit of the presidency unless it came from an unlikely high profile individual like Mitt Romney.

The next best-priced contender looks to be Joe Biden, who was the Vice President under Barack Obama but now it appears as though, despite him actually leading in the polls right now, that many don’t think Biden is the right fit to get the nomination and is too old and has a track record of voting for things that don’t fit the Democratic mainstream right now.

Kamala Harris is widely considered to be likely for the nomination and she’s trading as the third shortest price to be named the 2020 President with a price hovering around an 8/1 listing. You’ll also find that Bernie Sanders is trading around a similar price tag.

There has been plenty of talk about Beto O’Rourke as a potential emerging star and he trades at a relatively short price but appears to be more in the running for a VP candidate than anybody else. He still trades at a single digit price for the presidency and you’ll find a few bookmakers listing him around 9/1.

There are a few other interesting contenders here including Pete Buttigieg who has dropped significantly and now can be backed around 17/1 after being listed around 100/1 just a few weeks ago.
