Arsenal vs Spurs Betting Tips and Preview

Arsene Wenger has pulled some really solid results seemingly out of thin air over the past two weeks after Arsenal’s disastrous debut at home to Aston Villa when they were thoroughly taken apart by a 3-1 margin by a team that barely stayed up last year. Now they are the second part of the so-called “Super Sunday” English Premier League card and you’ve got to like the looks of this London Derby based on the amount that’s at stake for both sides.

The Gareth Bale factor is going to make things very interesting for Spurs as the Welshman now looks finally set to make his move away from White Hart Lane as the news has hit the back pages that he has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, though the overall transfer fee is apparently still being negotiated.

Arsenal still haven’t really been able to land any of the big names they had been linked with over the summer and it doesn’t look like they would be successful in bidding for Wayne Rooney if they were to attempt to launch a late bid.

Arsenal go into the match as the betting favourites here by some distance as the bookmakers have them priced at 23/20 while Spurs command an enticing price of 13/5 to emerge with all three points at the Emirates.

The draw can be backed at a 5/2 margin and that’s probably going to be a popular option with the neutrals.

Theo Walcott is likely to be integral to Arsenal’s plans of getting the result in this one and you’ll find him trading at 9/4 to grab an anytime goal while Olivier Giroud is the preferred Arsenal player to score at any point. He’s listed at a 7/4 price to score at any point in the match.

Roberto Soldado is getting the edge for Spurs and he’s a 7/4 shot for an anytime strike while Erik Lamela can be backed at 11/4. Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor are both listed at 10/3.

Walcot to score anytime and Arsenal to win trades at 4/1 while Sodlado to score at anytime and Spurs to win would reward at a solid 6/1.
