ATP 2010 CHINA OPEN- SEMI FINAL BETTING ODDS AND PREDICTIONS

The China Open has been blown wide open with the shock departure of number 2 seed Andy Murray, with the lone 'recognisable' name being that of Novak Djokovic.
Djokovic, the world number two, showed nerves of steel in his straight sets win over Frenchman Gilles Simon, 6-3 6-2 , saving all seven break points Simon had against him in the first set.
Djokovic tackles John Isner in the tournament semi final.
Isner, who upset Russian fourth seed Nikolay Davydenko, 7-6 (7/2), 6-4 has been a revelation, as he seeks to finally down a big name on his way to a tournament win.
In the other semi final, David Ferrer and Ivan Ljubicic line up for the chance to compete in the final on Sunday.
This will be the seventh career encounter between the veterans, with Ferrer odds on to take it today leading the head-to-head series 5-1. With Ljubicic winning their first-ever encounter in 2003, Ferrer has won five consecutive times thereafter.
The Spaniard has been in devastating form leading up to today's semi final, coming off a semi-final performance in Kuala Lumpur, as well as eliminating Denis Istomin, Yen-Hsun Lu, and the fifth-ranked Soderling.
In the 1st semi- Djokovic is massive favourite to advance with Bet365 putting him at 1.22, to Isner at 4.0 even.
In the other match up Ferrer pips Ljubicic at 1.40 to 2.75 in the more evenly contested clash of the day.
There is a good bet if set betting on the Djokovic match, with William Hill setting a 2-0 win at 1.73, and 2-1 at 4.2.
Djokovic will win this having a clear margin of ability ahead of the American. A 2-0 bet is as good as it gets in this category.
For those wanting to make some 'quicker money' a bet on Djokovic to wrap up the first set can be seen at 1.40
The set bets the way of Ferrer are even more lucrative, with a 2-0 win the way of the Spaniard at 2.2.
A 2-1 win in favour of Ljubicic is currently sitting at 5.0 even
The fact that Murray has been knocked out has finally added some life to this ATP tournament.
All too often these tournaments are set in stone with predictable line-ups, with the 2010 China Open now wide open.
One would imagine that this will be a Ferrer/Djokovic final, and with it some fresh blood added to an otherwise predictable men’s line-up.
Betting Tip: A 2-0 win for Djokovic at 1.73
