The action gets underway at 12:45 when Swansea take on Everton – this time last year many would have assumed that David Moyes men would go into it as the prohibitive favourites. This time around however, it's not so cut and dry. While the Toffees are considered the 11/8 betting choice, the Swans are just a step off the pace at 6/4 while the draw can be backed at a 9/4 listing.

This match is very much about who scores first and it could take something special, perhaps from a set piece.

The rest of the day's fixtures all kick off around 15:00 and many of them really look like they could go either way. The only real lopsided fixture looks to be Chelsea hosting Stoke City as the Blues are a slim 2/7 for the home victory at Stamford Bridge. Stoke are a hefty 7/1 to grab the away victory but you reckon they'd be happy to walk away with a point.

The rest of the day's matches are all a bit nip and tuck with West Brom odds-on at 4/5 against Reading who carry a 5/2 price. West Brom perhaps have a bit more verve going forward and they definitely look a bit more steadfast at the back. The draw is also at 5/2 but there's a good chance the Baggies pull this one off unless they make some key mistakes at crucial moments.

West Ham are favoured to get the result over Sunderland in a match that's expected to be quite close. You'll find the Hammers at 5/4 while the Black Cats sit st 7/4. The 9/4 draw will likely prove to be popular but this one could be a bit of a mine-field, particularly if it's 0-0 at half-time.

Wigan vs Fulham looks a lot like Southampton vs Aston Villa and the odds are actually identical. You'll find Wigan and Southampton at 11/8 while the visitors sit at 8/5.
