Cheltenham Day Two Betting Tips

After a wild and wooley day on the opening of the Cheltenham Festival we are set for a supremely exciting day two that should rival it in terms of action and excitement and hopefully some big-time prices for the punters to tuck into in the Cotswalds.

The opening contest of the day is the Neptune Novices and it looks to be all about leading fancy Yanworth here. The Alan King-trained contender boasts plenty of form coming into this one and you’ll find him trading as low as 6/4 margin and who knows how much volume is going to come in on him as the punters will have their pockets full at the end of the day. 

Yorkhill appears to be the chief spoiler with a 5/2 margin. 

Jonjo O’Neill’s More Of That takes the lead billing in the RSA Chase and he’s rather interesting as a lukewarm 5/2 favourite in a fairly tight contest with No More Heroes. Expect No More Heroes to make some serious moves here as he has emerged as a top choice for a lot of punters - particularly in their multi-race accumulator tickets. Virtually all the other contenders in the race are trading at 10/1 or more. 

The Coral Cup is always a tough one and the favourite here is trading at around 8/1 for the likes of Diamond King and there are a number of interesting each-way shouts in this one. 

Following that the Queen Mother Champion Chase headlines the day with Un Du Sceaux odds-on for the victory here and looking like a popular banker for most of the punters. But you have a former champion in Sprinter Sacre, whose star has dimmed recently, emerging as his chief competition here. Un Du Sceaux is a 4/5 shout while Sprinter sits at an 11/2 price. 

In the Champion Bumper it will make a lot of sense to have a bash on Balleyandy and he is said to be one of the sharpest tips of the day.
