English Premier League Betting Tips Part 2

Arsenal themselves were a mess and the “Wenger Out” cries have begun at their earliest point in recent memory. It’s going to be a tough slog for Arsenal and, with the manager in the twilight of his contract, he may be forced out sooner rather than later if Arsenal dangle in mid-table obscurity long enough.

A proper stuffing at the hands of a side who barely stayed up last year can’t imbue many Gunners fans with too much confidence. With a steady run of bad results it could get very interesting at the Emirates as well.

Spurs and Liverpool were both able to grind out 1-0 results against sides they really should have beaten already and most will be eagerly anticipating their next affairs as they will get a much better look at their chances for the rest of the season based off of those results.

As it currently stands, the bookmakers have not altered the outright markets much at all with United sitting behind Chelsea and City. You’ll find 2/1 being the listed price on the two co-favourites with David Moyes’ men trading at a 5/2 price. The odds then take a considerable jump to 16/1 for Arsenal to win the Premier League while Liverpool can be backed at 20/1 while Spurs trade at 25/1.

Manchester City vs Newcastle kicks off in a few hours and City go into that one as the distinct betting favourites with a 3/10 price tag against a Newcastle side that have looked good recently in pre-season and will be doing their best to get things together to launch a campaign to secure mid-table status.

The Magpies are a 12/1 shot to get the reverse on Manchester City while the draw can be backed at 9/2 and you reckon that would be a tidy day out for Newcastle if they could split the points with Manchester City.
