English Premier League Betting Update PT 1

It was another fascinating weekend of English Premier League action and we seem to see Chelsea pulling away at the top of the league with the London-based club now trading at an extremely short price to lift the trophy at the end of the season. Appearing to have now gone nine points clear over second-place Spurs, Chelsea are going from strength to strength and they have put away some difficult opponents in the last week to make major statements.

As it currently stands, punters will find Chelsea trading as low as a 1/7 price tag to secure the English Premier League title at the end of the season. Considering the fact that we are barely into February, you have to respect just how much that team has gelled and dominated the competition over the past few months.

Manchester City and Tottenham are considered to be the only other clubs with relatively reasonable prices to actually pip Chelsea to the English Premier League title. You can back City as low as 9/1 with various bookmakers but a few others out there have them floating as high as a 14/1 margin to pull off the shock title victory.

Spurs can be backed as low as a 12/1 margin to secure the English Premier League trophy while a few others list them at around a 16/1 price tag. It would really be something if they could pull it off but you just kind of get the feeling that Spurs will be left wanting against for the second year in a row.

The odds to win the English Premier League title then take a considerable jump as Arsenal can be backedt anywhere between a 40/1 margin all the way up to a 66/1 price tag. Liverpool are trading as high as a 70/1 margin and Manchester United can be backed at an 80/1 listing that could shorten if they continue to put together good results.

While things at the top of the English Premier League have started to settle down and we look to have a real dogfight for the European placings – with United and City in the ascendancy and Arsenal and Liverpool starting to look a bit like their bright start to the season has begun to catch up with them.
