While the Sunday fixtures include a Man City vs Arsenal match, the real interesting teams will be lining up Saturday with several fascinating encounters slated.

Newcastle vs Southampton in the late game is going to be one to watch and right now you’ll find Southampton trading as the 23/20 favourites despite being the away team here. Newcastle are still without a full-time manager and Southampton are buoyed by their 1-0 takedown of an underwhelming Manchester United side at Old Trafford last weekend.

The Magpies can be backed at a 5/2 margin and that will probably interest more than a few people who think that they might be able to pull off the reverse here in front of their home fans. If Ronald Koeman’s side are going to push this all the way and aim for a Champions League spot next year then this type of match is the exact type that they need to be winning. The draw trades at 12/5 and that might suffice for Newcastle but Southampton need to aim for all three.

You wonder if that will be their undoing here?

Prior to the Newcastle vs Southampton fixture, there is six other match-ups with Swansea vs Chelsea looking like it could be the pick of the crop. Jose Mourinho’s men are a 4/7 price tag right now to get the victory away from home and that might be a real opportunity for the Welsh side.

Expect Swansea to put together an organized and measured performance with a focus on protecting the defence and keeping Cesc Fabregas from being able to operate with a lot of space on the edge of the box. If they can keep their transition play organized, Swansea have a genuine chance here and you can back them at a very tantalizing 5/1 price which is all the better considering they are playing at home.
