English Premier League Final Day Betting Preview PT 1

We are down to the final day’s action in the English Premier League as a number of top teams still have plenty left to play for as the final two Champions League positions still need to get sorted out. We have all three of Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester City still with a chance to progress to the top level of European football next season and it appears to be the Midlands-based club who are favoured to be plying their trade on Thursday nights next season.

With the relegation dogfight sorted out already and no chance for West Ham or Spurs to be able to affect the European placings, you have to think that some of those sides would be looking at this year as a real missed chance, having finished just outside of the top four by only three or four points each in most cases.

There’s a lot to like about how the English Premier League is setting up for next year and you can bank on their ability to get the job done and make things even more interesting next year.

Manchester United sit on 71 points and are able to secure second place regardless of their outcome against Wolves on Sunday. Chelsea sit at 67 points in third place with Liverpool on 66 points alongside Leicester City but ahead by four points of goal difference.

Of the three sides, Leicester City face the toughest match on paper with them playing host to Spurs on Sunday at the King Power Stadium. They will be looking to avenge their disappointing result against Chelsea after beating them in teh FA Cup Final and they know that delivering a big performance for their fans will further etch their names into club history.

There is a lot to play for at Leicester and, while Liverpool have been in resurgence when it matters most this season, they have the ability to not only beat Spurs but to put four goals past them. It would be legendary if they were able to somehow pip Liverpool into the next European football season by mere goal difference.
