English Premier League Outright Betting Update PT 2

Chelsea certainly seem to be playing with some serious momentum this year and they have the benefit of being able to focus on the league this time around and with the high quality players they have at their disposal, you have to assume that they will be able to push this competition all the way as we get closer to crunch time.

Liverpool really do seem to be the wild card this season and they are priced at a very plausible listing to take the title. You'll find them trading at a best price of about 10/3 with several top bookmakers with a few going as low as an 11/4 margin. There is a lot of pace in that side and they play a free-flowing type of attacking football where you just know that the bookmakers are itching to price them down a bit because the volume will begin to flood in if it really looks like Liverpool could pull this thing off this year.

You have to like Liverpool to put something together but it's also worth probably waiting a bit to actually put any serious money on them – if they are still in the mix come the end of the Holiday fixtures then you have to assume that they will still be there-or-thereabouts in price and you can bank on the fact that they could cock this up late, once again.

We al remember Steven Gerrard's infamous slip when Liverpool really could have had the title secured a couple of years ago. Look for them to make a big impression this year but watch that itchy betting finger.

Arsenal have been looking a much tighter side recently than they have in the past couple of years and it looks like they at least know where their goals are going to be coming from this time around. The bookmakers have them listed at about an 8/1 price right now and that could go lower – particularly if a side like Liverpool starts to drop out of the reckoning a bit as we get closer to the 2017 portion of the English Premier League season.
