Born and raised in Hertfordshire, England, Andrew has spent the last five years living and working in Glasgow, Scotland. The lure of living in a cold, brash, unforgiving yet utterly amazing city was enough to drag him away from the rolling green hills of the Home Counties.
"Whenever anybody asks why I moved 400 miles north, I always give different answers; there was never a definitive reason. I don't regret it for a moment, though."
After four years of working in administration, Andrew has moved into freelance writing work. He is laying the foundations for a future career, which will hopefully see him start a Sports Journalism degree course next summer.
"I've been following football since I was eight years old. I never thought about using my love of the game as a career option, well not since I thought I could actually become a footballer, but now it actually seems possible."
As well as football, Andrew follows cricket, snooker, F1 and can also claim an interest in many major annual tournaments, especially the Six Nations.Email A.D. Winn Follow A.D. Winn
