MANNY PACQUIAO VS FLOYD MAYWEATHER LATEST ODDS AND TIPS

The world of boxing has really been turned upside down with excitement over this widely-anticipated bout between Pacquiao and Mayweather. Many are already going out of their way to declare this fight the biggest of the decade. Not bad for a decade that hasn’t even started yet. It will likely go down as the biggest PPV fight of all time and I have a feeling that the betting volume on this match is going to be totally unprecedented at this level.
All major bookmakers have released odds already on this fight and if you’re backing Pacquiao to win this, you’re looking at a really great price. Across the board, Floyd Mayweather is the odds-on favourite, which is great for me because I think Pacquiao is going to win this fight in the late rounds. It could definitely go the distance, but I’m counting on Freddy Roach to have something different up Manny’s sleeve for the Mayweather fight.
Most betting sites just have the outright result listed, but we’re here to point out some sites that are already offering multiple markets. The fight is set to go on March 13 and that leaves plenty of time for the markets to drift around. I think Pacquiao is going to attract the bulk of the betting volume and we all know that means price-reductions as we get closer to the fight. If you’re going to back Pacquiao to win outright, you need to get in and lock in your bets now in order to ensure best price.
Ladbrokes has listed Pacquiao at 2.25 with Mayweather carrying a 1.57 price. Keep in mind that when you lock in your bets, you will be refunded should something happen and the fight gets cancelled, god forbid. Ladbrokes should have additional markets up soon, and they will also feature live in-play betting on this massive bout.
Popular bookmaker Stan James has just released the round-by-round betting for this fight! Manny is trading at 2.2 while Mayweather is listed at 1.67 in the outright market. In terms of the round-by-round betting, Floyd Mayweather is listed at 34.0 to win in every round except the 12th, where he rises to 41.0. Mayweather is listed at 2.5 for a points win. I don’t see Floyd knocking Manny out, so a points victory is his likeliest option should he pull off this massive victory. Stan James lists Manny Pacquiao at 34.0 to win during rounds 2-6 and the 12th. He is 41.0 in the first round, but it is very interesting that he dips to 29.0 in rounds 7-11. This shows that the longer this match goes on, the better it is for Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao’s price for a points win is 3.0.
Betfair, where punters can take bets and make their own, is usually a few steps ahead of other betting sites. There is very little volume so far with only a thousand dollars or so matched. But you’ll find the best price available on Mayweather’s outright victory here with a 1.82 listing. Pacquiao is available at 2.24 at the moment. There are prices available for the method of victory, but again, there is very little volume. Mayweather by KO, TKO or DQ trades at 2.52 while a Mayweather decision pays out at 3.0. Pacquiao is listed at 3.0 for a KO, TKO or DQ win and he trades at 4.0 for a points victory. A round betting market exists, but no bets have been laid as of yet.
What an exciting fight this is going to be. Manny Pacquiao has put quite a few dollars in my pocket over the past year or so and I don’t expect him to slow down just yet. I’m taking Pacquiao by a KO or TKO in rounds 9-11. You can hedge that with a points win for Mayweather.
