Sunderland take on Newcastle in a match that both will be looking to win - such is the ferocity of the Tyne-Wear Derby. Both teams really do need the points right now and you’ll find Sunderland getting the edge from the bookmakers here with a price of about 7/5 while Newcastle are trading at a 2/1 margin.

The draw sits at 9/4 and there really doesn’t seem to be a huge amount between all of these teams. They don’t favour a huge amount of goals here as the over/under is at 2.5 and the under is short-priced at 13/20.

The following day we have a very interesting match-up with Crystal Palace playing host to Manchester City with the London club really looking to take something from this one and the bookmakers seem to be thinking they might have a genuine chance here as they have priced them at 4/1 against a Manchester City team that can be backed at 4/6 - which is a little high for City in this type of fixture.

Crystal Palace will be thinking they might be able to pull something out of this one and City haven’t really been playing lights out recently like they were earlier in the season. The bookmakers seem to favour both teams to score here with the “yes” option paying out at a 3/4 margin while the “no” pays out at evens.

Aston Villa take on QPR on Tuesday and this one will be fascinating as Villa are in action against Manchester United on Saturday. There isn’t a huge amount of time between both cards but you can bank on them viewing this one as a lot more likely target than the match against the in-form United.

You’ll find Aston Villa (who really need a win right now) priced at even money while QPR - who are fighting against relegation but it’s becoming an increasingly tricky struggle for them - can be backed at 11/4. The draw sits at 12/5 and could be an option here but you have to reckon both teams will go for it and try to grab all three points.
