Premier League Weekend Betting Preview Part 2

Chelsea are priced at 4/5 to get the win over QPR and this one could be a fiery encounter as Rangers have done well in London Derbies. Expect them to fancy themselves for this contest and you can actually see that reflected in the 7/2 price tag being floated right now. There's a lot to like about that Chelsea side and if they can really let loose and express themselves then it could be over quickly, but expect QPR to produce some intensity – particularly if they can take it into half-time 0-0.

Some of the fixtures featuring the mid-table sides look to be relatively even and good betting opportunities if you know what you're doing. Norwich vs West Ham is anyone's guess and that's why you'll find the Canaries trading at 13/10 while the Hammers are available at a 2/1 price tag. The draw sits at 12/5 and that's likely going to be the favourite outcome for the neutrals.

Aston Villa are favoured over Swansea at a 5/4 price but this one really might work out for the Swans. They can be backed at a 21/10 listing and they have been able to show some real verve when they're on their travels – particularly against over-confident sides at home.

Fulham vs West Brom could go either way, but the Cottagers have looked sharp so far this season. Expect them to play with bit more swagger than you might really have expected in the past few years. They're listed at even money here and West Brom can be backed at 11/4 – a good price for their supporters who might reckon they get the result here. Are Fulham over-confident? We're not sure yet, but even money at home shows the bookmakers are truly confident.

Sunderland play host to Liverpool and it's really down to which Liverpool side is going to show up for this one. They're at a 5/4 listing and you'll find Sunderland at 11/5 despite them playing at home. The draw sits at 9/4 and this one should take a fair amount of volume as it's the late game – expect to see the prices move a bit prior to kick-off.

Reading and Tottenham take each other on this Sunday and Spurs are an even money price despite being away for this one. Reading have been a tricky side to back and that's reflected in their 13/5 odds. Everton are well-fancied against Newcastle on Monday and they come in as the 17/20 favourites at Goodison Park. Newcastle can get wins in matches like this and they're not badly-priced at 10/3.
