Saturday Premier League Betting Tips

We’ve got more than a few interesting English Premier League fixtures ahead of us on Saturday and there are enough relatively evenly-matched affairs set to unfold. The results are really anyone’s guess and even some of the favourites aren’t really getting as much momentum from the bookies as most of us are used to seeing.

The West Ham vs Chelsea London derby gets things off to a good start in the early fixture and it’s really difficult to bet on Rafa Benitez’s men to win at this point as it still doesn’t really look like the Spaniard has the support of the dressing room outside of Fernando Torres.

The Blues are priced at evens to get the win here while West Ham are 14/5. The 23/10 draw will probably prove to be a popular option as most don’t really fancy to get the job done even though West Ham haven’t really hit their stride yet either.

Arsenal are 1/2 favourites to get the better of Swansea and the visitors are a lengthy 6/1 to get the outright result. Things have cooled off a bit for the swans and Arsenal are playing some better stuff in recent weeks but this one could have more than a few surprises - particularly if Swansea score early.

Liverpool take on Southampton and anything less than the full three points are going to be seen as a major mistake for Brendan Rogers side. The Reds rank amongst the biggest favourites of the day with a slim 4/9 outright price while the South Coasters can be backed at 7/1.

Manchester City are 4/7 for the win against Everton but David Moyes men certainly look good value at 5/1. This one might be a bit more complicated than Roberto Mancini might want and the 14/5 draw looks good value. Watch out for a sending off in this match.

QPR vs Aston Villa is a fairly open fixture and both will view this one as winnable. Villa are 11/4 to get the victory here why QPR are a slim 21/20 to get the home victory that they sorely need. 0-0 wouldn’t surprise.

West Brom have definitely been punching above their weight this year and they remain one of the best stories heading into the Holiday fixtures. Look for Stoke to put up some real resistance here and their 5/2 price looks pretty good - particularly if they can score early.

Manchester United are a 4/9 listing to get the result against Reading, who can be backed at a 7/1 price tag. Look for Sir Alex Ferguson’s men to go behind early, but ultimately get the job done once again.

VERDICT: United x Everton x Stoke @ 30/1
