SCOTLAND VS SPAIN EURO 2012 BETTING TIPS AND LATEST ODDS

There appears to be a sharp switch in tactics as Scotland have apparently opted to select a striker- putting a serious damper on their swashbuckling 6-4-0 formation for tonight’s fixture against the Spanish. Simply put, if you sit back and try to defend against Spain- you’re going to lose so its nice to see some sensible selections coming from the Scottish side.
Spain go into this one as solid favourites but it’s actually a more generous price than you would initially assume considering the fact that they are the undisputed best side in the galaxy.
Spain’s odds to beat Scotland are listed at a 1.36 price with Ladbrokes while the Scottish team are priced at 9.0 to pull off a massive victory. A draw is listed at 4.5 and that might be a quality bet for Scottish fans.
The bookmakers don’t see the Scottish side scoring any more than two goals at the moment and a Scottish victory by a 1-0 margin trades at 13.0 while 2-1 is listed at 29.0. A 2-0 result pays out at a massive 41.0.
Spain trades at 6.0 to win 1-0 or 2-0 but a 3-1 result is looking a likely outcome if everything goes according to plan and you’re looking at a solid 10.0 on that result. If you fancy Spain to really teach Scotland a lesson then a 5-0 result is priced at 51.0.
It probably doesn’t come as a huge surprise that David Villa is the favoured goalscorer here and he’s well-priced at 1.72 to grab a goal at any point in the match. Fernando Llorente is listed at 2.1 while Aritz Aduriz is listed at 2.5. Andres Iniesta can be backed at 3.5 while David Silva is trading at 3.75.
Kenny Miller will lead the line for Scotland in this one and he’s trading at a solid 4.33, you reckon that if anybody’s getting a goal for Scotland it will likely be Kenny Miller.
Darren Fletcher is trading at 10.0 to grab an anytime goal against Spain and that’s not a bad shot if you expect Scotland to put up a fight in this one.
Interestingly enough, the bookies don’t favour a high-scoring affair with the 2.5 over/under favouring the under at 1.8 against the 1.9 over.
