X FACTOR BETTING ODDS ON MATT CARDLE AND CATEGORY WINNER PREDICTIONS

Now that the proper X Factor competition is actually underway, we’ve got a full slate of odds available from all UK bookmakers and there are some supremely competitive markets depending on how adventurous you might be feeling about this one. Matt Cardle is still clinging to his status as the betting favourite and he will likely hold that spot for some time- unless there are any dramatic upsets of surprises along the way.
Matt Cardle’s odds to win X Factor are trading at 11/4 with William Hill while Rebecca Ferguson is priced at 4/1. This puts her just ahead of 1 Direction, who look to be getting more competitive by the day, while Cher Lloyd’s price is floating around 7/1 at the moment. That’s a sharp rise from the 5/1 she was sitting at the other day.
Aidan Grimshaw is trading at a 9/1 listing and the odds then take a big jump to 20/1 for John Adeleye and Belle Amie. Mary Byrne, who was the betting favourite at one point, is trading at 25/1 alongside Storm Lee, Katie Waissel, Nicolo Festa and F.Y.D.
In the boys category on 2010 X Factor, Matt Cardle is the odds-on favourite and you can back him at a 4/9 price- that’s not a bad selection as he still has a ways to go to win the actual show but he does look head and shoulders above the other male contestants. The payout isn’t massive but that’s a supremely safe bet. Aidan Grimshaw trades at 5/2 while Nicolo Festa can be backed at 6/1.
Rebecca Ferguson is the odds-on favourite to be named best girl performer and she’s trading at 4/6 to top the group while Cher Lloyd remains competitive at 13/8 while Katie Waissel is available at a 6/1 price.
1 Direction are dominating the groups betting with a 4/11 price while Belle Amie trade at 10/3 and F.Y.D are priced at 11/2. You know where that one is going.
The over 28s are the most competitive group while John Adeleye is the favourite, but not a heavy one, at 11/8 while Mary Byrne and Storm Lee are trading at 15/8.
