Cesc Fabregas Set to Seal Barcelona Move (Finally)

Arsenal's odds to win the 2011/12 English Premier League remain unchanged despite convincing proof that two of their young talismans are set to leave the club. The long-running, and seemingly never-ending, Cesc Fabregas saga is finally set to conclude itself as the midfielder has landed in Barcelona and is set to agree terms with the Catalan club, despite an odds press conference from Arsene Wenger that indicated nobody was leaving.
It will likely come as a surprise to the French manager that Samir Nasri is also ready to leave the club, despite him being linked with a steady stream of other sides over the summer months. Manchester United, you know them - one of Arsenal's rivals, even tabled a bid for Nasri earlier in June.
There are only a few weeks remaining before the transfer window slams shut at the end of August and, despite signing forward Gervinho, Arsene Wenger has not been able to bring in the type of players he knows he's going to need to sustain another season challenging on all four fronts.
Champions League qualification is no straight forward thing this time around, with Arsenal facing a two-legged fixture in order to make it to the opening round of the Champions' League proper.
Arsenal are carrying a 20/1 price to score an unlikely Champions League victory – what a story that would be. And they are plausibly-priced alongside recent winners like Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. Barcelona, understandably, are considered the heavy favourites to secure the trophy – priced at a slim 2/1.
Real Madrid can be backed at 5/1 with Manchester United recently clipped down to 6/1 for Champions League glory.
