We're back to familiar territory in the world of golf as Tiger Woods put together a rousing final day performance at Memorial to equal Jack Nicklaus' 73 tour wins. Etching his name even further in the history books is always a bonus for woods but the bigger picture will certainly dominate the summer's golfing dates. Woods appears to be back and, if he can put in a big display at the upcoming 2012 US Open, many will agree that he has exercised the demons of the last few years.

The Olympic Club in San Francisco, California plays host to the latest iteration of the US Open, the second major championship of the year.
Following that big victory yesterday, Woods has been clipped by nearly every major bookmaker and any of them who didn't have him listed as the primary favourite certainly do now. It looks like he is clicking at just the right time and if he can improve some issues with his putting, then Tiger could very well put in one of the typically dominate performances of old.
Look out for Woods at around 6/1 with Ladbrokes right now, this ranks amongst one of the better prices you'll be able to find.
At the moment there is only the tournament winner market available but once the field is finalized in the coming days we'll be able to see some much more interesting markets beginning to kick off.
Look for Rory McIlroy to trade around 12/1 and represent the biggest challenge to Tiger Woods ability to pick off another major championship. Lee Westwood is always stiff competition and he remains very much in the mix for this one as well, carrying a 14/1 price.
Punters will also find Luke Donald at 14/1. Phil Mickelson is capable of putting together a few solid days of golf from time to time and his 16/1 shows that he's expected to take more support than he is right now. Expect his price to shorten as we get closer to the first tee-off at the Olympic Club.
Bubba Watson is priced at 40/1, Webb Simpson is trading at 66/1 while many might be expecting this to be Rickie Fowler's coronation. A 33/1 price is currently out there on the brightly-dressed young American and it would be a major coup for him professionally to pick up a first major win in California.
