2012 Olympics Betting Predictions Part Two and Bet365 Bonus Code

Usain Bolt's recent spate of up-and-down form has resulted in him being listed at a very enticing price for the Men's 100m dash. He's trading at an 8/11 price tag – certainly better than what you would have gotten on him in the ante post market in the build-up to this one. Yohan Blake is the only other really interesting looking challenger and he's trading at a very solid 13/8 price. Tyson Gay can be backed at 14/1.

Bolt is getting a much shorter price for the Men's 200m with a 4/7 price ahead of Blake's 13/8 listing. Wallace Spearmon looks to be the chief upset wager with a 16/1.

LeShawn Meritt is the even money favourite to win the Men's 400m – a contest that looks to be one of the more interesting ones in the Men's Athletics section. Kirani James can be backed at 9/4 and Luquelin Santos is also in the picture with a very interesting 6/1.

Get ready for a walk-over for David Rudisha in the Men's 800m dash. He's available at a miniscule 1/8 listing with Mohammad Aman or Nijel Amos considered to be the only real interesting outside shots.

The Men's 1500m is headlined by Asbel Kiprop and Silas Kiplagat, who can be backed at 11/8 and 13/8, respectively. Check out Nixon Chepseba at an 8/1 price tag. Mo Farah gets the nod for both the 5000m and the 10000m with a 6/4 and an 11/8 to capture them both.

As we move into hurdles company, check out Aries Meritt with a 6/5 price over Liu Xiang at 8/5 – short distance hurdles contests can be very interesting betting opportunities because the slightest mistake can make absolutely all the difference. It is similar to short-track speed skating in the winter olympics that a mistake from one contender can easily take the betting favourite out of the equation very quickly. It's a little bit like quarter-horse racing.
