The Democrats were previously trading at a very short price to be the next party to assume the Presidency but things are quite tight now with the Democrats still clinging to their spot as the betting favourites in this two-horse race but their price has risen all the way up to 4/5 while their Republican counterparts can be backed at a 5/4 margin. 

If you think something genuinely crazy and dramatic is going to happen, you can back an Independent to be elected President of the United States at a hefty 100/1 margin. What a story that would be.
