He is a bit of a lightning rod and appeals to a type of conservative voter who is a little bit more extreme than what you’ll find for Haley or DeSantis so it will be interesting to see if he can make a move for the Republican candidacy.

Mike Pence can be backed around a 22/1 best price right now with several top bookmakers. 

Other notable candidates such as Mike Pompeo can be backed at 50/1 while one of the most interesting options on the ticket is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who has made no qualms about an attempt at running for president. With many of us unable to predict what could happen between now and 2024, this might seem even more plausible then than it does now. 

The Rock is currently trading around a 50/1 margin as well. 

One other significant political outsider is Fox News host Tucker Carlson who is enjoying a lot of attention as he dominates the TV news ratings and has been calling out individuals on both sides of the aisle. Carlson has a price as high as 60/1 and could wind up being an interesting outside option. If he was to declare his intentions to enter politics, his price would drop significantly but one has to think that he only really has appeal to one side of the American political sphere.
