Biden’s main competition is coming from Elizabeth Warren at the moment, who has usurped Bernie Sanders as the clear second choice in the betting markets after her recent surge - much of it was from an aggressive media push that involved a variety of different TV hosts and magazine covers all invoking the same two or three keywords to describe Warren.

Apparently, she has a plan.
The bookmakers have priced Warren around a best price of 11/2 with several bookmakers floating her around a 4/1 price that puts her just a shade behind the favourite Joe Biden.
Pete Buttigieg has been one of the bigger surprises of the campaign so far and the military veteran who is openly gay and the mayor of a city of 100,000 people has definitely been able to suck the life out of a few candidates campaigns - notably Beto O’Rourke.
Mayor Pete is now considered to be the third favourite in the race and he’s trading at or near where punters will find Elizabeth Warren with a 6/1 price tag out there. He is a very interesting and likely candidate for Vice President if he maintains a large following and the top of the ticket sees him as a compliment.
Back in February, Buttigieg could be backed around a 100/1 price.
